Embracing the factual
In under 12 months, we have set up a fully functional pilot facility – the ⍺-Yard in Pordenone, Italy.
Today we have two batteries of operating Piccolo microbioreactors with unprecedented sensing capabilities, two operating 500L Magnum bioreactors with superior sensing capabilities and have integrated our modular and scalable Design@Scale data platform to enable high-throughput data collection.

THE BIOYARD
Scaling biology out – not up
What is designed in the lab is deployed to the BIOYARD, where, to manufacture, we scale out our modular batteries of 50KL Goliath bioreactors.

Our BIOYARDS are constructed with standardised sets of six 50kL Goliath and modular DSP to optimise flexibility and drastically reduce both CAPEX and OPEX.

Our modular Goliath bioreactors allow for scaling out, rather than scaling up – reducing the risk of redesigning fermentation processes, and accelerating innovation.
